It was a giant step forward for Cessna when they unveiled the Citation III in 1983. The Citation III became one of the best-selling mid-size jets of its era. With a range of 2,000 miles and cruising speeds of Mach .83, this aircraft can go to different places fast. This aircraft was designed for speed. Its new design was built around a swept, super-critical wing designed for high-speed, long-range flight. The Citation III has a newly designed fuselage, and “T” tail. To help reduce surface drag this aircraft was designed with light-weight composites and smooth-bonded materials.

Inside, passengers can enjoy a quiet spacious cabin with comfortable seating, a fully enclosed lavatory with a functioning sink, and a “stand-up” cabin.
